After a few slower paced chapters George R. R. Martin decides to throw in some intense battles. Arya fights with her new Night’s Watch friends against some evil-intentioned Lannister troops. Meanwhile, Tyrion engages in a more behind-the-scenes battle of wits when the small council attempts to fight against Stannis’ propaganda. I think I prefer the story with Patchface for many obvious reasons.
